Hanging out with Family and Friends

I really wanted to take advantage of my time off with Gavin. So, I have been making the rounds to see family and friends. Yesterday we visted with Nanny and Pop-Pop. Gavin had a good time. He found everything very interesting, he couldn't stop looking around.

Today
Today we went to vist Amy and Kiana. They were so darn cute. Kiana kept a good eye on Gavin. We put Gavin in her swing and Kiana watched him nearly the whole time then on her floor gym. It was so funny. She knew he was in her spots. But she was cool with it. It was really cute. We went on a walk, Gavin's first trip in his stroller. He slept the whole time.

One month old

Gavin was 1 month old yesterday. Here are some pictures. He hung out with his best bud Ethan.

Too small...

Gavin is already out of his 0-3 month clothes. There might be 1 or 2 outfits he can wear but it is a push. I really like this jumpsuit so I had to get him in to it before he can't wear it. I doubt he will be able to wear this again.

Bath time....

Gavin loves bath time. He kicks back like he is at a spa. His toes spread apart and he will sometimes even kick back so much his eyes close.

Ok so Gavin is a genius.. He will be 4 weeks old on Tuesday or 1 month old and he is holding his bottle to eat.. I happen to catch him while I was feeding him, he was holding the bottle for awhile and then let go to rub his eyes.

Happy St.Patrick's Day

Gavin went to Nanna and Papa's house for St.Patty's Day. He wore his cool Old Navy shirt. Zayne was there so the boys had their pictures taken together. He visited with Auntie Myra, Uncle PJ and cousin Nikki and Auntie Rhonda. I think I was more tired then Gavin.

Tonight Kenney decided to read Gavin a book. He seems to interested in knowing what is going on around him. He was wide awake listening to Dad read about Curious George and a fishing adventure. By the end of the book he was sound asleep..Such a good baby.

Gavin is a big fan of sleeping on the recliner. For the first part of the night he will sleep in his bed next to me. But during the 2nd feeding he gets it in his mind that he wants to snuggle with me. So, instead of keeping Daddy up I take him out to the living room and sleep in the recliner. Daddy caught a picture of us this morning.

Gavin & Ethan Best Buddies

This is Rebekah's son Ethan. Gavin and him are going to be best buddies... Ethan is 6 weeks and Gavin is 2 weeks. They are so cute!!! Bekah and I had so much fun with the boys.

First time out and about and first bath at home...

Well today started off with a sleepy mom and baby. Gavin wanted to stare at mom most of the night. Not that he cries much but just wanted to hang out. He is so good I can harldy believe it. Today we went up to see Nanny and Pop-Pop (Grandma and Grandpa Kenney's mom and step-dad). I run late now, if you know me you know how crazy that drives me. But I got over it. I had the car warmed and we were ready to go, I realized I didn't have my mirrors to look at him while we drive so I went to go grab them and realized I locked myself out of the house. Totally lame. So, I said to heck with it and went to Target, well now I am already like 1/2 hour late. O'well. Got the mirror and we are on the road. Becoming paranoid that every driver on the road was tailgating I moved in to the slow lane and barely went the speed limit. So, we finally arrived over an hour late. Gavin met his cousins today and had a lot of fun. They each held him and loved him. He wore his new outfit from Bunnies by the Bay. It even has little froggy feet... It was so cute.






His first bath last night... He loved it..Nana (my mom) gave him a mohawk when he was done.








Mommy already has her boy trained to cheer on his future favorite driver.. Go Jimmie!

Gavin is 1 week old today

Gavin is a week old. I can see how this whole time flying by thing happens.

First trip to the doctors

He is finally starting to gain some of his weight back. He gained 2 ounces since yesterday. It seems like he changes so much every day. The doctor said he is doing great.
